Senior Product Manager — City Solutions
Bolt is Europe’s leading mobility super-app. As Senior PM for City Solutions (micromobility), I owned the domain strategy for making Bolt’s scooter and e-bike operations work with cities — not just in them.
The Challenge
Micromobility operators face a constant tension between growth and regulation. Cities want fewer badly-parked scooters, better compliance, and real data. Operators want permits and scale. My role was building the product that bridged that gap.
What I Built
AI Parking Validation (Computer Vision) — Improved parking quality by 18 percentage points by using on-device CV to validate whether a scooter was properly parked before ending a ride.
Predictive Maintenance (Sensor Fusion) — Cut annual servicing costs by 5% by building a model that identifies vehicles likely to fail before they do, using accelerometer and gyroscope data from the scooter fleet.
Geospatial Data Insights SaaS — Led a 0→1 data product giving city authorities visibility into fleet behaviour, parking patterns, and compliance. A long-term relationship tool as much as a compliance tool.
Front-facing Camera Programme — Initiated a strategic investment in front-facing cameras across the fleet, collaborating with data scientists, hardware, and mechanical engineering teams.
