Senior Product Manager, Europe
Hayden AI combines advanced vision AI with purpose-built, vehicle-mounted hardware to analyse urban environments in real time. Bus-mounted cameras detect parking violations, bus lane infractions, and double-parking — the everyday disruptions that make public transit unreliable.
The Problem
Buses are late because cars are in the way. A parked vehicle in a bus stop or bus lane creates a cascade of delays affecting thousands of riders. Traditional enforcement is too slow and too sparse to change driver behaviour at scale.
What Hayden Does
Vehicle-mounted cameras scan continuously, identifying violations automatically and generating evidential packages for enforcement. Deployed on buses across major US cities, the platform has improved on-time performance, reduced collisions along bus routes, and made streets more accessible — particularly for seniors and wheelchair users.
My Role
Leading the European market expansion — owning product-market fit across European pilots and production launches.
Responsibilities:
- Defined requirements for European pilot projects and production launches
- Developed product strategy covering compliance with European regulations — GDPR, vehicle hardware directives, and city-specific enforcement frameworks
- Identified and assessed greenfield opportunities within Europe for new product lines
- Conducted discovery with regional transit agencies and government stakeholders to surface unmet needs and validate product direction
- Align European initiatives with the core platform roadmap
